Recreation Leader 2 - Join Our Vibrant Community in SeaTac, WA!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recreation Leader 2 to join our team at the City of SeaTac's Parks, Community Programs & Services Department. As a Recreation Leader 2, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our Youth Program, working under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor or Recreation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead activities for youth students ages 5-12, including crafts, games, tutoring, cooking, outside activities, sports, and athletics
• Ensure activities are safe, proper, and appropriate, and maintain program equipment and facilities
• Supervise staff as assigned and participate in teen programs, planning, and coordinating groups in arts & crafts, sports, and special events
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and community members

Requirements:

• 18 years of age
• Six months of related work experience in community recreation and/or education programs
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Valid Washington State Driver's license (if required to drive)
• Proof of full vaccination in accordance with the governor's requirements
