Product Management Manager (Remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Management Manager to lead our product management team in a remote setting. As a Product Management Manager at Workwarp, you will be responsible for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent to drive business value through the delivery of quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business partners to assess market needs and inspire product teams to find innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning (30%): Develop and execute product strategies that align with business goals and customer needs. Conduct market research, analyze customer feedback, and identify opportunities to improve products and services.
- Delivery & Execution (40%): Lead and guide product teams to ensure successful delivery of products and features. Prioritize and manage product backlogs, ensure quality and change control standards are met, and remove roadblocks to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- People (30%): Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Product Managers. Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build a world-class Product Management Team. Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive value and identify impediments.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in product management
- Proficiency in modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to work with functional and technical team members at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting epics and user stories
- Experience conducting user research and testing to understand needs
- Experience guiding more junior team members through Product Management fundamentals
