Student Achievement Strategist - English Language Arts (Grades K-2)

Job Summary: The Student Achievement Strategist will work closely with teachers and schools to identify and implement strategies that increase student achievement. This will involve instructional coaching, professional development, core-subject knowledge teaching, data-use training, and technology tools training. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers and principals to identify instructional strategies that accelerate student achievement
• Provide real-time instructional coaching and professional development to enhance teacher content knowledge and effective use of instructional strategies
• Engage with teachers to use student data to develop rigorous lesson plans and differentiate instruction for various student groups
• Coordinate and deliver training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in ELL strategies
• Monitor and demonstrate how to align instructional materials, district curriculum, and AZ College and Career Readiness Standards
• Research and identify best practices for differentiating instructional strategies to support interventions
• Coach teachers to effectively integrate technology and use blended learning models
• Guide teachers to effectively use district online assessments and data to inform instruction

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid AZ teacher's certificate
• Valid Arizona English As A Second Language (ESL) or Bilingual Endorsement preferred
• Five years of successful experience teaching English Language Learners preferred
• Experience with diverse student populations
• Knowledge and experience in Scientifically Based Research (SBR) instructional strategies and programs
• Knowledge of blended learning models preferred
• Experience using a variety of technological tools preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with all staff
