Job Title: ERC Tutor/Resource Assistant - Nashville Campus (Part-Time)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ERC Tutor/Resource Assistant to join our team at Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas, Nashville Campus. As a key member of our Educational Resource Center, you will provide academic support to students, assist with ERC operations, and contribute to the development of tutoring materials and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tutoring and assistance to students in all academic courses
- Develop tutoring materials and strategies to support student needs
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure tutoring meets academic needs and quality standards
- Participate in ERC training sessions and staff meetings
- Maintain records regarding tutoring services and utilize library circulation system and textbook inventory management software
- Travel to other campuses as directed by supervisor (additional compensation provided for travel)
Requirements:
- Completion of at least 20 college credit hours with a strong GPA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word
- Strong MLA style writing, grammar, and technical/computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain student confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work up to 25 hours per week, including some weekend work during academic semesters
