Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time Professional Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Healthcare Design to join our dynamic mechanical engineering consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical environment design, cleanroom design, USP 797/800 Compliance, and BSL-2/3 rooms. Your responsibilities will include performing engineering studies, design services, and initial design field surveys for various Healthcare and Laboratory facilities.

You will also be required to collect relevant information to redesign existing facilities, resolve issues, perform code-required renovation upgrades, and conduct cost-benefit analyses. Additionally, you may be expected to perform commissioning activities, such as construction document review, construction field installation verification, and equipment functional testing. Proficiency in energy modeling software, such as Trane Trace or eQuest, is a plus.

Requirements:

• ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, with a PE license
• 10+ years of experience with various HVAC systems
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, ICC Building, Mechanical and Green Energy Codes, and USP Standards
• Excellent communication, management, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to complete assignments on-time and within budget
• Ability to travel on short notice (1 week or less)
