Remote Health Advocate - Outbound Call Coordinator

Join our team of compassionate Health Advocates and play a vital role in transforming the lives of our Medicare members! We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic professional to join our Healthy Outcomes Team as a Health Advocate - Outbound Call Coordinator, working from the comfort of your own home. As a Health Advocate, you will conduct outreaches to our Medicare members, inspiring and encouraging healthy behaviors through innovative, compassionate, and empathetic telephonic communications.

As a key member of our team, you will facilitate Provider, Pharmacy, and Member outreaches telephonically to ensure Medicare members receive important information about their benefits, screenings, and medications. Through motivational interviewing and the use of various tools, you will assist members with Medication Adherence, utilizing influencing and motivational interviewing skills to ensure member engagement and discern health needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting outreaches to Medicare members to promote healthy behaviors and ensure understanding of available benefits
  • Facilitating telephonic communications with Providers, Pharmacies, and Members to ensure receipt of important information
  • Utilizing motivational interviewing skills to assist members with Medication Adherence and promote behavior changes
  • Providing information and support to empower members to make independent healthy healthcare choices
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • Windows-based application knowledge and high computer literacy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience speaking with medical providers and clinical staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and listening skills, with the ability to de-escalate situations
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to a fast-paced changing environment

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Recent and related experience working with Medication Adherence, behavior change, or healthcare marketing
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates
  • Medical certification (CNA, MA, etc.)
  • Prior experience working directly with members/consumers in a call center setting
  • Minimum 3 years of recent and related experience in healthcare, healthcare marketing, outreach, or health education
