Senior Full Stack Engineer - Shape the Future of Travel Technology

Join our innovative team at CWC Travel, Inc. (dba Costco Travel) as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and play a key role in designing and developing our in-house travel booking software applications. As a remote or on-site team member, you will be an integral part of our collaborative environment, driving success with your diverse skillset and expertise. We offer a competitive compensation package, starting at $135,000 - $155,000 per year, and a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and growth.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our travel portal, which enables Costco members to book car rentals, vacation packages, hotels, and cruises. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing client/server models and web-based applications using Java Enterprise Editions technologies
• Collaborating on requirement analysis, project planning, and scheduling, as well as estimating tasks and defining project milestones
• Providing software design solutions and enforcing application development guidelines and best practices
• Leading sprint planning activities, prioritizing project tasks, and assigning them to team members
• Mentoring developers to drive operational efficiencies and technical growth within the team
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure the company's technical directions and standards are followed
• Supporting deployment activities into production and working closely with the software testing team

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in designing and developing client/server models and web-based applications using Java Enterprise Editions technologies
• Experience with database technologies, relational databases, and REST-ful services using Java technologies
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment environments, unit-testing, and error log analysis
• At least one year of experience in developing software for the IT travel industry and Online Travel Agent systems
