About the Role:
We're seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to join our team at Allstate Benefits, a leading provider of voluntary insurance. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of benefits insurance by designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
About the Opportunity:
As an Enterprise Architect, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Collaborate with executive-level leadership to develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps that align with business objectives
* Design and deploy highly complex systems that deliver business value, leveraging Allstate's Target State Architecture (TSA) as a reference architecture
* Consult on the application of TSA and establish reusable patterns in the creation of business solutions, working closely with other Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects
* Provide technical and professional leadership and coaching to Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and Lead Engineers
* Define end-to-end architecture for Allstate Benefits' Transformation Program, working with both Business and Technology teams
* Communicate technology strategy to leaders and knowledge workers through architecture runways, roadmaps, conceptual diagrams, and solution documents
* Identify opportunities for innovation, driven by independent research and analysis of industry and technology trends
About You:
We're looking for a highly experienced and skilled Enterprise Architect with:
* 10+ years of technical experience in architecture/design, with 4+ years of experience with Agile
* 5+ years of technical experience with defining reference architectures, solution/integration architectures
* Strong expertise in platform services application development, security, cloud technologies, and hybrid cloud native platforms
* Experience with microservices, web and API security, authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML
* Experience working with distributed technologies, including integration and design patterns, messaging interfaces, business process modeling, and business rules engines
* Large-scale digital transformation program experience
* Domain knowledge in benefits insurance
