Blending/Mixing Operator - Competitive Salary $23/hour

As a Blending/Mixing Operator, you will be responsible for performing a range of production activities, including equipment setup, clean-ups, packaging, filling, labeling, maintenance, and other operational duties. You will utilize Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure a clean and safe working environment, and visually inspect incoming materials and finished goods to report any non-conformances.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing production activities, such as equipment setup, clean-ups, and packaging
• Utilizing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Visually inspecting incoming materials and finished goods to report non-conformances
• Running multiple machines, including fillers, cappers, robots, and casing equipment
• Performing line inspections, quality checks, and completing required documentation
• Adhering to all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and monitoring computer terminals and OIT screens

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience as a Production Operator
• Good math and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Experience with operator control panels and automated casing equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shutdown
• Ability to identify line problems, non-conforming product, and employ corrective actions
• Valid forklift license and ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Ability to work 10 ½ hour shifts with unpaid lunch and overtime as required
