Job Summary:

We're looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our remote team, providing top-notch support to our customers in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC. As a bilingual representative, you'll be fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong ability to communicate complex healthcare information in a clear and concise manner. You'll be responsible for answering inbound inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage inbound inquiries regarding health plan benefits, claims, eligibility, and other healthcare-related topics
  • Conduct outbound and return calls to customers as necessary, providing timely and effective support
  • Ask appropriate questions, listen actively, and provide personalized support to customers, documenting relevant information in our computer systems
  • Communicate and partner with customers tactfully and empathetically, resolving issues and applying conflict management skills as needed
  • Meet performance goals in efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance, adhering to all applicable policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Must reside in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (validated via bilingual assessment upon offer acceptance)
  • At least 1 year of call center experience required
  • Ability to handle a heavy call volume of 50-100 calls daily
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer and Windows PC applications, with strong keyboard and navigation skills
  • Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
