Experienced Full Stack Director of Inside Sales – Web & Cloud Application Development, Sales Leadership, and Team Management

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Inside Sales to lead our inside sales SaaS center in the small business space. As a key member of our V Team, you'll be responsible for generating sales revenue by focusing on the acquisition of new accounts, meeting assigned activity, process, and unit/performance goals. You'll lead multiple sales teams, providing support and assistance to the sales team in outbound prospecting and wireless partnership by presenting products in a virtual demo environment to close and secure new business sales.

Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Inside Sales, you'll have the following key responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple Associate Directors as direct reports who lead a sales team consisting of Lead Inside Sales Reps and Sr. Sales Executives.
  • Plan and prioritize activity and sales pipeline for leaders to achieve goals with an emphasis on team management, productivity, and accurate forecasting.
  • Meet regularly with team members either individually or in groups to provide feedback, coaching, and direction for daily sales activities.
  • Identify, plan, and execute strategies for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Work closely with referral partners such as Verizon Wireless Reps to capture additional business in the total accessible market.
  • Communicate with other various departments in collaborative efforts and maintain relationships with these departments to ensure future sales and customer success.
  • Navigate effectively through the company structure and culture to achieve the desired outcomes for the team.
  • Build strong, diverse, and inclusive teams and identify and select high-quality talent to develop and retain.
  • Create a team environment that motivates all employees to do their best and set the tone at the top for a respectful and supportive workplace.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of demonstrated sales success – consistency in meeting and exceeding device and lead conversion targets for a sustained amount of time.
  • Sales mentorship and office leadership experience – having positively impacted the performance and results of others on their team and/or in the office.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Four or more years of SAAS, marketing, training, and/or customer service experience.
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills.
