Experienced Full Stack IT Support Specialist – Remote Data Entry and Client Support

You'll be responsible for ensuring that our crewmembers receive prompt, professional, and convenient first and second-level support, as well as specialized assistance with various technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional on-site and remote customer support to blithequark crewmembers
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our equipment, applications, and communication systems
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of support requests and resolutions
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Working collaboratively with our IT team to identify and implement process improvements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED certificate)
• Experience supporting the latest operating systems or successful completion of the IT for Everybody certificate through Coursera
• Experience carrying out and supporting applications
• Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%)
• Possession of valid travel documents and the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US
• Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US
• Experience using desktop software packages

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Industry-recognized certifications (Microsoft, networking, programming languages)
• Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products
• Familiarity with Trade and Office Suite
• Knowledge of LAN environments using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
• Knowledge of communication, messaging, and network systems (VOIP and POTS)
• Knowledge of mobile devices
• Familiarity with MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune
• Knowledge of general media solutions

As a member of our team, you'll be expected to:

• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Be available to work flexible hours and respond to support requests without prior notice
• Maintain a professional appearance while working or traveling on blithequark flights
• Participate in light cleaning of the aircraft while on duty
