Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume inbound calls, providing policy information, and resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. Primary Responsibilities

* Handle high-volume inbound calls (70-120 calls per day) from policyholders, providers, and interested third parties, providing policy information and resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
  • Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, whether through phone, email, written correspondence, or other channels.
  • Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional support.

Requirements

* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service and communication.

  • 18 years of age or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong remote experience preferred, but not required.
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 20 Mbps, using a hard-wired connection.
  • Smartphone required for VPN access.
  • Insurance industry experience considered a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Quiet and professional workplace environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with a focus on first contact resolution and high customer satisfaction.

Training and Onboarding

* 2-3 weeks of comprehensive training, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST.

  • Training will cover policy information, operational procedures, and customer service best practices.
  • Post-training, you will be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, with a flexible schedule between 7:30am-6:30pm CST, Monday-Friday.

Equipment and Resources

* Smartphone required for VPN access.

  • All other equipment, including computers and software, will be provided by blithequark.

Location and Availability

* Work from home, with a nationwide presence (excluding Houston, TX, Miami, FL, New York, California, Hawaii, Washington, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Vermont, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, and Wyoming).

  • Must be available to work a 40-hour workweek, with a flexible schedule between 7:30am-6:30pm CST, Monday-Friday.
