About the Role
As an Online Adjunct Instructor - General Psychology and Human Sexuality, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses in a dynamic online environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and assessing student learning outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to develop and teach new courses, participate in curriculum development, and contribute to the growth and development of our online education program.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach undergraduate courses in General Psychology and Human Sexuality in a dynamic online environment
- Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
- Participate in curriculum development and course revision
- Develop and teach new courses in General Psychology and Human Sexuality
- Contribute to the growth and development of our online education program
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement online education initiatives
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Psychology, with a PhD preferred
- Academic background in the area of human sexuality, such as substantial graduate coursework or a substantial research project
- Higher education teaching experience and interest in developing courses
- Ability to work in a dynamic online environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues
