Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for: * Providing teaching support to students enrolled in BA 840, including leading discussion sections, grading assignments, and proctoring exams * Assisting faculty members with research projects, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation * Developing and delivering instructional materials, such as lecture notes and study guides * Tutoring students in computer programming languages, such as Python and SQL * Grading assignments and exams, and providing feedback to students * Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field * Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL * Experience with data analysis and interpretation * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong organizational and time management skills * Familiarity with MySQL and experience with running existing packages
