Job Summary
We are seeking two experienced Customer & Membership Data Management Services Representatives to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Customer & Membership Data Management Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing membership data, and supporting the intake process for new members. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to members, parents, and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage membership data, including registration applications, payments, and file management through Vision Member Tracking
- Monitor and manage the flow of pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the building, ensuring safety and security at all times
- Develop and implement a positive and inclusive membership application and fee intake process that informs and welcomes parents
- Create and provide communication materials to parents, school, or community members/organizations
- Type correspondence and spreadsheets, maintain accurate computer records, and generate reports as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
* 21 years or older
- College or degree (Associates/BA) preferred
- Experience working with children, Boys & Girls Club experience a plus
- Education background in computer and internet systems, data entry, or other related field
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Publisher; online registration portal process
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work with young people and parents, instructing and guiding them as needed
- Must be able to take initiative, be creative, resourceful, and motivated
Additional Requirements
* Ability to perform gross and fine motor activities required for typing, writing, simple manipulations, and use of computer screen
- Visual acuity for accurate reading, typing, filing, and use of computer screen
- Ability to work at a rapid pace and where frequent interruptions and changes in plans or deadlines may occur
- Hearing is needed for purposes of business-related phone communications, public broadcasts, and answering incoming calls
- Ability to lift and carry 15 to 50 lbs office supplies, audio equipment, and other items needed for the preparation and takedown of special events
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, squat for filing and retrieval of stored files and supplies
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual Spanish a must
- Experience working with web-based database management systems
- Familiarity with Vision Member Tracking software

Compensation and Benefits
* Part-time position with 25-35 hours per week
- Hourly rate: $20.00 per hour
