Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative with Blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our members, answering their questions, resolving their issues, and helping them navigate their healthcare plans. You will work from home, using your own computer and internet connection, and will be required to adhere to our telecommuting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls from members, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful information about healthcare plans, benefits, and services
  • Resolve member issues and concerns, escalating complex issues to supervisors or other teams as needed
  • Use computer-based systems to access member information, update records, and track interactions
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as claims and billing, to resolve member issues and improve overall service
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and member satisfaction

Required Qualifications

* 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as call center, retail, or hospitality

  • PC proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as business, communications, or healthcare

  • Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Experience working with computer-based systems, such as CRM or customer service software
