Job Summary

As a Senior Product Design Supervisor II at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading a team of designers and engineers to develop innovative web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that are both functional and visually appealing. Your expertise in product design, user experience, and agile development methodologies will be essential in driving the success of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and designers to develop product roadmaps and prioritize features

  • Conduct user research and interviews to understand customer needs and pain points
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' behaviors and preferences
  • Lead design thinking workshops and enable collaborative questioning across teams
  • Develop and maintain a high-level of creative execution to deliver reviews that carry pride to our customers
  • Foster deep empathy with the member and liaise with product companions to benefit alignment and priorities
  • Develop and maintain a product design portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design solutions that meet both commercial enterprise requirements and customer needs
  • Communicate design standards to audiences of all levels of information
  • Embrace design questioning and agile techniques
  • Balance product functionality and visual design to force value and adoption
  • Juggle multiple objectives and be a constant champion for the customer
  • Develop and maintain a multi-channel person experience strategy and innovation with a hit delivery of product roadmaps
  • Recognize the need for analysis of client conduct adjustments (e.g., spikes in income revenues, traffic, abandonment, engagement)
  • Lead robust groups through rapidly evolving, complex demands, with a couple of tasks with dependencies on different internal teams
  • Develop and maintain prototypes and designs using Sigma (but also be available with Flinto, Framer, Surprise, Precept, or similar)

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, user experience, and agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision
  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and web development frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field

  • Experience with design certifications such as IDEOU – Foundations in Design Thinking Certificates
  • Experience with product development in a user experience role
  • Experience with design thinking workshops and enabling collaborative questioning across teams
  • Experience with developing and maintaining a product design portfolio
  • Experience with communicating design standards to audiences of all levels of information
  • Experience with embracing design questioning and agile techniques
  • Experience with balancing product functionality and visual design to force value and adoption
  • Experience with juggling multiple objectives and being a constant champion for the customer
  • Experience with developing and maintaining a multi-channel person experience strategy and innovation with a hit delivery of product roadmaps
