Job Description
We're looking for a highly skilled software engineer to join our team and take on the challenge of improving our custom chat widget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development, with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flask. Experience with OpenAI and function-calling is a must, as is the ability to design and implement a structured payload that renders responsive property cards.
Key Responsibilities
* Properly handle OpenAI function calls in our backend to retrieve real-time listings from our API
- Design and implement a structured payload that renders responsive property cards, including images, price, specs, and CTA
- Optimize the mobile UX of the chat widget to provide a seamless user experience
- Collaborate with our team to identify and resolve issues with the current pipeline
- Develop and implement a new pipeline that provides better results and renders property cards in the chat
Essential Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flask
- Experience with OpenAI and function-calling, including examples of successful implementations
- Strong understanding of backend development and API design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Anthropic and other AI platforms
- Strong understanding of mobile UX design and development
- Experience with property listing APIs and real estate data
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems
