Experienced Accountant – Financial Analysis and Reporting

You will work closely with our Senior Duty Bookkeepers to ensure the completion of daily accounting and audit activities in the Corporate Expense Division. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Accountant at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and examining pay and financial records, combined statements, and other accounting reports and documents
• Auditing and checking the accuracy of journal entries and accounting orders assigned to other records
• Applying sound accounting standards and creating or suggesting accounting techniques and systems
• Educating or allocating work to accountants, accounting agents, and other partners to participate in daily accounting activities
• Arranging accounting matters with other departments, areas, and divisions
• Participating in financial reporting

Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports

This position typically reports to a Senior Director. This job has no immediate reports.

Travel Requirements

Regularly requires travel under 10% of the time.

Working Conditions

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not hazardous. Examples include phone administrator and document agent.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be 18 years old or older

• Must be lawfully allowed to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

* 3 years of accounting experience preferred

• Proficient in high-level information and expertise using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
• Experience with general ledger software, such as SAP or similar software
• Demonstrated relational skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

Minimum Education

* The information, skills, and abilities are normally obtained through the fulfillment of a four-year certification program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
