Key Responsibilities

As a blithequark Independent Contractor, you'll be responsible for providing virtual customer service to our clients' customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers
  • Creatively problem-solving to resolve customer issues
  • Quickly assessing customer needs and providing sound solutions
  • Providing a high-level of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
  • Managing multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a blithequark Independent Contractor, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Basic typing skills
  • Strong customer service and written communication skills
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with multiple software applications and systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Earning Potential

As a blithequark Independent Contractor, you'll have the opportunity to earn a competitive income based on your performance. Our programs have varying pay structures, but most pay for time spent talking on the phone and assisting callers. You may also receive performance-based pay or other incentives. As a self-employed 1099 Independent Contractor, you'll be responsible for your own tax obligations and expenses.

Application and Certification Process

To become a blithequark Independent Contractor, you'll need to complete the following steps:
  • Complete an application to join blithequark Nation, which includes passing a background/credit check
  • Pay a $45 processing fee directly to our vendor for the background/credit check
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Complete a W9 form
  • Some opportunities may require additional certification or training

Program Metrics Requirements

Some programs may require Independent Contractors to meet specific metrics requirements to maintain eligibility. These requirements may include:
  • Providing services above posted minimum standards
  • Meeting specific quality or performance metrics
  • Completing additional training or certification

Availability

As a blithequark Independent Contractor, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work at times that suit you best. Our clients' call availability will vary, but generally, calls are available daily from 8am to 8pm EST. Some clients also offer 24/7 call availability.

Technology Requirements

To succeed as a blithequark Independent Contractor, you'll need to meet our basic technology requirements, which include:
  • A Windows-based computer or laptop
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A headset or earpiece
  • Additional security measures and technology equipment may be required for some clients
