Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data analytics team, you'll be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing complex data to inform business decisions and drive growth. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and teams to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to meet business needs.
- Developing, validating, and executing complex queries, developing complex reports, and performing complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients; translating results and making recommendations to business areas based on findings.
- Designing and developing packages for internal clients.
- Evaluating data needs of assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.
- Turning data into actionable insights through reporting solutions.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Presenting analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
+ Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications + Experience with reporting platform – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) + Development Programming Languages / Knowledge / Experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript + Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Transact SQL + Database Knowledge / Experience – MS SQL Server
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with reporting platform – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of arenaflex systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database Knowledge / Experience – Hadoop, Oracle
- Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience preferred
Required Education
To be considered for this role, you'll need to hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
