Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients' website visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering Incoming Customer Live Chats: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information regarding website navigation, services, and general client concerns.
  • Evaluating Customer Interactions: Assess customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary.
  • Building Relationships: Establish relationships with new customers to better understand their needs and provide personalized support.
  • Responding to Customer Questions: Answer customer inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and professionally.
  • Promoting Client Products and Services: Engage with customers to promote interest in client products and services.
  • Achieving Established Standards: Consistently meet and exceed established standards of the position.
  • Providing Administrative Support: Assist the customer service team with administrative tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Assisting with Overflow Work: May assist with overflow work and other duties as required.

Qualifications

To succeed as an Online Chat Specialist, you'll need:

  • Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team-oriented environment.
  • PC Keyboarding and Internet Experience: Proficiency in using a computer and internet applications.
