Job Summary
We're seeking an entry-level Remote Live Chat Agent to provide exceptional customer support to our clients and their customers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, resolving issues, and promoting our clients' products and services. Responsibilities
As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
- Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Live Chat Manager when necessary
- Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs
- Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and professionally
- Promoting interest in client products and services
- Consistently achieving established standards of the position
- Portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
- Providing administrative support as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Keyboarding and internet experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
- An upbeat, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
- Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
- Ability to compose professional emails
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment
- Familiarity with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Experience with process improvement and quality assurance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
