Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our Cyber ML/AI team, you'll play a critical role in detecting cybersecurity anomalies and enhancing our overall safety posture. Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in data warehouses across multiple databases and identifying opportunities to grow data schema in Cyber Security
- Reviewing and analyzing simple data control business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of options and exercising independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables
- Presenting guidelines for resolving more complex data control conditions and exercising independent judgment while growing understanding in the business data policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborating and consulting with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external clients as applicable
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent validated by one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience working with data analysis tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
- Experience building data engineering pipelines for diverse data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of 1 year of Data Analysis experience in the Financial Services industry
- A minimum of 1 year of Cyber Security area exposure
- Experience working with data visualization tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
- Experience building data engineering pipelines for diverse data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
