Job Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our IT Help Desk and Customer Service team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for receiving and processing customer requests, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing exceptional customer service through timely and accurate communication. This is a permanent part-time opportunity with flexible hours, offering a competitive starting pay rate of up to $20 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or chat - Open and submit tickets into arenaflex's ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review - Review each open ticket to determine the outcome from the Help Desk (e.g., problem resolved, coordinated call required) - Email responses to customers to ensure they receive timely and accurate updates - Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions - Collaborate with the Help Desk team to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer service - Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's products, services, and policies to provide informed support
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, business administration) preferred - Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer is highly desirable - Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs) - Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with arenaflex's products or services - Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices - Certification in customer service or IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) - Experience with data entry software and tools (e.g., Excel, Access) - Familiarity with arenaflex's ticketing system and CRM software
