Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe and respectful space for all users. This will involve moderating chat conversations, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and impartial manner. You will work closely with our community management team to identify and address any issues that may arise, and provide excellent customer service to our users.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderating chat conversations on our official Discord server to ensure that users are following community guidelines and rules
- Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines and rules
- Banning users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Muting users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
- Investigating reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Collaborating with our community management team to identify and address any issues that may arise
- Providing excellent customer service to our users and responding to their inquiries and concerns
- Staying up-to-date with our community guidelines and rules, and ensuring that they are enforced consistently and fairly
Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain impartial and make fair decisions
- Familiarity with Discord and community management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience as a moderator or community manager on a Discord server or other online community
- Knowledge of community guidelines and rules, and experience enforcing them
- Familiarity with conflict resolution and mediation techniques
- Experience working with diverse groups and individuals
- Ability to work in a remote environment and manage your time effectively

Compensation and Benefits
