Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation and Content Development team. As a Data Analyst, you'll apply advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize our content portfolio. Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release process to maximize audience engagement
- Test and optimize marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Passion for media and entertainment, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends
