About the Role

As a Customer Care Advocate at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in our customer service team, providing top-notch support to our customers via phone, addressing their billing, technical, and service-related inquiries. Your goal will be to not only resolve customer issues efficiently but also to identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships by offering a wide range of products and services. To ensure your success, we offer a comprehensive 9-week training program that covers enhanced customer service skills, our products, and services, including voice, cable, modem, and dial-up services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer calls and provide timely, effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Utilize your knowledge of our products and services to identify and capitalize on opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and increase sales.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest products, services, and industry trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of prior customer care experience, preferably in a service environment.
  • Sales and/or technical experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in using various software applications and technology platforms.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications or cable industry, with familiarity with products and services similar to those offered by arenaflex.
  • Certifications or specialized training in customer service, sales, or a related field.

Work Environment and Remote Work Requirements

This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. To ensure your success in this role, you will need to meet the following remote work requirements:

  • A dedicated, private room in your home that is quiet during work hours.
  • An internet connection of 50 MB or more, which is hard-wired (Ethernet connected) from the modem to your company PC.
  • A desktop work surface with room for 2 PC monitors.
  • A personal cell phone to install a security application.
  • Availability to work from our San Marcos office in the event of disruptions or poor internet connectivity.
  • Residence within a 60-mile commuting distance from the San Marcos office.

arenaflex will provide all necessary computer equipment and software to support your work. You will be required to sign a written agreement acknowledging these remote work requirements and to maintain a professional, distraction-free work environment.
