The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, communicating with customers via telephone and assisting with hotel, rental car, and flight reservations. You'll be responsible for:
- Answering incoming calls from customers
- Reviewing customer history as necessary
- Following policy and procedure guidelines
- Helping customers change travel plans
- Providing or confirming customers' travel itinerary
- Processing refunds
- Helping customers solve travel issues
- Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary
- Documenting information and outcomes as necessary
Work from Home Flexibility
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and that's why we offer flexible scheduling. You'll use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, giving you the freedom to schedule around your own needs, the needs of your family, and the important events in your life. Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM ET, seven days per week, so you can choose the shifts that work best for you.
Requirements
To be a successful Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:
- Prior customer service experience (at least 1 year)
- Strong geographical knowledge
- Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products (a plus)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Easy to work with
- Accepts feedback well
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrates empathy effectively
- Self-directed
- Able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion
- Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong typing skills
- Highly proficient in using the internet and navigating seamlessly between multiple applications
Technical Requirements
To ensure you have the necessary equipment to perform your job duties, you'll need:
- A computer meeting the following specifications:
+ Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset
Contract Requirements
NexRep contracts with people in 34 states. The only states we do not currently contract in are: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, and WA. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.
