Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representatives to join our Caremark Member Operations division. As a Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to work from home, balancing your priorities and delivering heart-driven service to our millions of plan members. You will be assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, taking inbound calls, and answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role and provide exceptional service to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, providing clear and concise information about their coverage and options
  • Take inbound calls and respond to member inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide solutions to help simplify our members' health care experience, demonstrating empathy and a genuine concern for their well-being
  • Service a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific client groups
  • Receive ongoing training and support to upskill and adapt to changing business needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and deliver exceptional service to our members

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • An associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
  • Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving their quality of life
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • At least 6 months of health care experience
