The Role

As a Chat Customer Relations Agent, you'll play a vital role in helping music fans navigate our clients' ticketing systems, purchasing merchandise, resetting passwords, and troubleshooting website issues. Your passion for music and excellent communication skills will enable you to provide top-notch support to our clients' customers. Responsibilities

As a Chat Customer Relations Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Expressing genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues and addressing them as if they were your own
  • Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
  • Identifying high-risk customer situations and escalating them appropriately without hesitation
  • Keeping up with multiple chats at a time and accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
  • Responding to and resolving open issues in an appropriate timeframe
  • Identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them to management
  • Multi-tasking using multiple systems and skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times and remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Flexibility to cross-train as requested and adapt to new systems and processes

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A LOVE of music, with a focus on Pop and Country artists
  • 1-3 years of call center chat experience, with a strong preference for technical experience and experience with Zendesk
  • The ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently
  • Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and the ability to work independently and utilize resources to resolve customer issues
  • A great understanding of text and chat acronyms, as well as excellent grammar and the ability to use lingo when necessary
  • Previous work-from-home experience is preferred, as is a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement

Hardware and Software Requirements

To ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our clients' customers, you'll need:

  • Your own computer, with a processor of Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater (4 cores)
  • 8GB of memory on Windows 10 or higher / 10 64 bits
  • A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors and a webcam
  • A USB headset and up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform, with a recent scan completed
  • A hardwired connection to your router and a firewall enabled

Compensation and Benefits

As a 1099 contract employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of $13.00 per hour. You'll also enjoy the flexibility to work from home and create your own schedule, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
