Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain data visualizations using Power BI to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business operations
- Work closely with IT and business analysts to identify and implement new data sources and variables
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions
- Evaluate and validate metrics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
- Participate in the Data Governance program to update the data dictionary and develop data standards
- Research and remediate data errors and inconsistencies
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization
- Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations
- Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
- Experience with statistical analysis and data mining
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Smartsheets and other project management tools
- Strong experience with SQL, including writing complex SQL queries
- Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
- Knowledge of data storytelling principles and best practices
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView
- Strong communication and presentation skills
