Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively in accordance with arenaflex's data protection policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and taking ownership of customer concerns
  • Appropriately communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that customers receive the support they need
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, using arenaflex's CRM system
  • Providing feedback on call issues and suggesting improvements to processes and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, using arenaflex's digital tools and platforms
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with experience using arenaflex's CRM system
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Nice-to-haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with knowledge of arenaflex's products and services
  • Certification in customer service, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation
  • Experience using arenaflex's CRM system, with knowledge of its features and functionality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
