Job Summary

As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information in a timely and friendly manner. You'll work closely with our clients' customers, using your exceptional communication skills to address their concerns, provide account maintenance, and offer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist customers via phone or in-person, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and issues

  • Review confidential tax information, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Provide account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Offer customer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center, using technology to provide advanced support
  • Utilize your analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues, making informed decisions that meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, promoting a positive and respectful team atmosphere

Minimum Entry Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Six months of call center experience, handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing information

* Customer Service: Ability to address customer issues effectively, prioritizing customer satisfaction and business needs

  • Results Orientation: Ability to identify the most suitable approach for completing tasks or achieving goals
  • Good Judgment & Decision Making: Ability to evaluate situations, considering potential consequences, and make informed decisions
  • Accountability: Ability to accept responsibility for actions, maintaining honesty and integrity while upholding organizational success
  • Teamwork & Cooperation: Ability to promote a positive team atmosphere, respecting colleagues and leadership
  • Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze problems and resolve issues effectively

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a high-volume contact center environment

  • Bilingual in Spanish or second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a remote environment after completing an onsite training period

Requirements

* Must pass a criminal background check

  • Must obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $15.00 per hour (non-bilingual) / $17.00 per hour (bilingual in Spanish or second language)
