Job Summary

As a Financial Customer Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, answering questions about their 401k account balances, and assisting with withdrawals, loans, and account maintenance. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment, with a focus on continuous learning and growth.

What to Expect

As a new Financial Customer Associate, you'll embark on a comprehensive training program, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Here's what you can expect:

  • Training Cohort: Join a training cohort of associates during the first 14 weeks, where you'll learn about the financial services industry, develop your skills, and gain new experiences.
  • Customer Calls: Start with basic customer calls and progress to more sophisticated calls related to our clients' 401K plans.
  • Team Activities: Participate in team activities, receive well-being support, and career coaching to help you grow and develop in your role.
  • Rewards & Recognition: Celebrate your achievements as you progress through the program.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy a full-time hourly phone position with the opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs and your availability.

The Skills You Bring

To succeed as a Financial Customer Associate, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Effective Communication: Establish rapport and relationships with customers through clear and concise communication.
  • Great Listening Skills: Listen attentively to customers, empathize with their challenges, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Proficiency in Technology: Navigate and troubleshoot basic technology issues or systems with ease.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle a variety of situations and conversations, driving towards a resolution that meets the needs of all parties involved.
  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrate strong social skills, energy, and passion for the team and the role.
  • Minimum 1 Year of Customer Service Experience: Bring a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience to the table, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service.

Certifications

* Customer Service: Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Shifts and Hours

* Monday – Friday: Work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with 40 hours per week.

  • Open Availability: Have open availability from 7:30am to 11:00pm CST, with the opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs and your availability.

Hybrid Working Model

arenaflex's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and culture, but we also value the benefits that working offsite offers our associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
