Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Medical Biller at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with processing insurance claims through private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
• Noting and processing all necessary forms from insurance companies
• Assisting patients in navigating the billing and insurance landscape, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures
• Working with doctor's offices and hospitals to obtain charge information and billing details
• Entering all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors
• Following up with clients and payments, as needed
• Answering phones, assisting clients with questions, taking messages, and screening calls
• Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Strong customer service skills and a patient-centric approach
• Previous experience with medical coding or billing is desired, but not required
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
