Responsibilities

As an Overnight Call Taker (Customer Service Representative) at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering, screening, and directing calls for the entire company in a timely and efficient manner
  • Distinguishing the need for emergency transportation and pre-arranging transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for patients
  • Arranging specialty and critical care transportation as needed
  • Providing information and assistance for customer service inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Communicating with multiple departments and EMS personnel to ensure seamless patient care
  • Providing supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport and developing effective solutions for customer service issues
  • Directing calls to the Flight desk as appropriate
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A pleasant, professional phone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Typing skills of 30 wpm or better and proficiency in computer software applications
  • The ability to excel in a high-stress environment and adapt to frequently changing policies and procedures
  • A medical background is a plus, and EMD certification will be required within 1 year of employment
  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support
