Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and upholding arenaflex's high standards of merchandising and presentation. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable. Your passion for sports and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience

  • Serve as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Provide register coverage as needed and ensure strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and drive business growth
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping environment
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide expert advice to customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred

  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a retail environment, preferably in the sports industry

  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services
  • Familiarity with visual merchandising and store displays
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
