Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Data Entry Associate to join our Accounting team. This is a full-time remote position that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas. As an Accounting Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for maximizing refunds we receive for UPS damages claims and ensuring that our company's suppliers are paid accurately and on time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of arenaflex.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Submit UPS and freight damage claims daily with a special attention to older claims
  • Complete all damaged and missing package claim paperwork
  • Refund checks reviewed for accuracy and marked as paid
  • At each stage, corresponding documents are updated with the status of that claim
  • Price checking and reviewing all invoices for approval prior to payment
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies with internal and external parties
  • Create payments to ensure vendors are paid both accurately and in a timely manner so that discounts are applied appropriately
  • Data entry using NetSuite
  • Effectively work with various internal parties to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payments
  • Respond to all co-worker and vendor inquires in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting and Business degrees preferred)
  • Proficient data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Pleasant and personal demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and strong follow-through
