Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders. Your primary duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing applicable policy forms, insurance law, and internal procedures to answer questions and process requests
  • Documenting telephone calls, changes, and written correspondence thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide solutions
  • Staying up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide informed and accurate responses

Key Responsibilities

* Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service to policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders

  • Utilize applicable policy forms, insurance law, and internal procedures to answer inquiries and process requests
  • Document telephone calls, changes, and written correspondence thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide informed and accurate responses
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge
  • Meet or exceed service standards and quality metrics
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, insurance, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and maintain productivity and focus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the life insurance industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
