About the Role

As a Principal Software Engineer on our ChatGPT for Work team, you'll play a critical role in building and deploying our flagship product. You'll work closely with researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers to bring new features and research capabilities to the world. Your expertise will be essential in accelerating engineering productivity by empowering your fellow engineers with excellent tooling and systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers to bring new features and research capabilities to the world

• Accelerate engineering productivity by empowering your fellow engineers with excellent tooling and systems
• Like all other teams, you'll be responsible for the reliability of the systems you build, including an on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product requirements
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering practices and processes

Essential Qualifications

* 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building scalable and secure systems

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including natural language processing and computer vision

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding and threat modeling
