Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry & Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and providing top-notch customer service to our patients and clients. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform order entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate processing of prescriptions

• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing, including reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring timely processing
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, and triaging customer service requests to prioritize urgency and information/response required
• Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions, and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
• Assist in reviewing and processing prescriptions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician (or as required by state law)
• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices
• PTCB National Certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science
