About the Role
As a Licensed P&C Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in property and casualty insurance to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with our team to support agency needs, recognize customer needs, and provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities
* Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues related to payments, billing, and policy changes
- Handle policy change requests, issue certificates of insurance, and implement changes online
- Provide general phone and email support to customers regarding renewals, cancellations, and insurance carrier requests
- Collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and support agency needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and agency partners to drive business growth and retention
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in property and casualty insurance
- Property and Casualty License required
- Experience in personal or commercial lines (or both)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with insurance software and systems
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance
- Experience in sales and business development
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, insurance)
