Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Evening Specimen Processor & Data Entry Specialist. This 25-hour per week position is perfect for those who are looking for a challenging and rewarding role with a leading clinical laboratory solutions provider. As a vital part of our patient care process, you will ensure laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing, while also providing exceptional data entry support.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Evening Specimen Processor & Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving and routing laboratory specimens for testing, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Performing data entry tasks, including lab requests and test orders, with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, prioritizing safety and compliance
• Championing quality control and recognizing when corrective action is needed
• Collaborating with our team to provide exceptional patient care and support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key, with high accuracy and speed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and organization

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be beneficial in this role:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a production environment
