About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a temporary, contract basis (40 hours/week, 6 months) with potential for full-time opportunity upon successful completion. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our digital databases. You will work closely with our team to maintain the integrity of our data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering and modifying data within digital databases, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Transferring information from paper documents to digital spreadsheets
  • Compiling, verifying, and organizing information based on priorities
  • Reviewing data for errors or deficiencies and correcting incompatibilities when possible
  • Researching and gathering additional information for incomplete documents
  • Applying data program techniques and procedures
  • Generating reports and storing completed work in designated locations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of data entry principles and practices
  • Proficiency in touch typing and database management tools
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
