Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Watchmaker Genomics is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager or Sr. Technical Marketing Manager for a full-time remote position. The successful candidate will develop impactful marketing content, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive brand visibility through strategic campaigns, product launches, and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Simplify complex NGS technical concepts into clear and engaging content that resonates with our audience
  • Support the planning, production, and implementation of marketing activities per the strategic plan
  • Develop content for product launch and positioning, including brochures, web landing pages, and FAQs
  • Develop content for marketing needs, including long form articles, video scripts, infographics, advertisements, emails, newsletters, and application notes
  • Draft and edit press releases, blog, and social posts that raise brand awareness
  • Research and understand our target audience to produce compelling content, and work with cross-functional teams to align on messaging
  • Maintain a working understanding of Watchmaker’s product offerings and stay current on applications relevant to Watchmaker’s portfolio
  • Identify relevant industry events and trade shows that present opportunities for brand exposure, lead generation, and networking
  • Support tradeshow attendance by developing show strategy and executing on key deliverables, including the generation of presentations, landing pages, handouts, social, and outreach emails

Skills

  • Master's + 6 years relevant experience; or Bachelor's + 8 years relevant experience
  • Technical knowledge of next-generation sequencing and associated genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic applications
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical information into content that engages both scientific and non-scientific audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask, be able to work at a high standard, perform consistently under pressure along with pre-determined deadlines and work without supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work as an effective member of a team
  • Good communication and personal task management skills and a high level of self-motivation and initiative
  • A creative and disciplined approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated ability in developing on-brand messaging that best represents a brand's voice and tone
  • Experience in biotech and a start-up environment are highly desirable
