Programming Instructor / Teacher (web development & software development) – REMOTE ($35/hr)

Our organization is growing quickly, and we’re looking for new instructors for either our Web Development OR our Software Development programming class. You will teach programming using our award-winning, already-built, proven curriculum to 6-12th graders completely online. There’s nothing for you to do except bring your English skills and be able to understand/teach the material... clearly. Location: Position is fully remote Pay: Starts at $35/hour Position: 2 available – 1 for web development (HTML / CSS / JavaScript) & 1 for software development (PHP/SQL) Note: Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. An instructor is allowed to teach both classes if they have the skills to do so. All the software has already been purchased, and we will work with you to install everything What we’re looking for: • Teach programming to 6-12th graders using our award-winning, already-built, proven curriculum. You will not need to create any new material, as the curriculum is already provided. • Instructor needs to be proficient in HTML/CSS/JS and/or PHP/SQL • Instructor will need to be able to read the set curriculum, explain concepts, facilitate discussions, and answer questions fluently in English • Classes are typically held during weekday evenings and during the weekends – Because students are in school and parents are at work, a majority of your classes will be on weekday evenings and/or during the weekends. There is flexibility to choose when you have availability/classes, but you would need to be able to work those time frames consistently. • Access to a computer setup that has two screens (example: laptop + external monitor or desktop with 2 monitors) and high-speed internet is required. • Respond promptly to clients regarding questions and requests Apply Job!
