Remote Data Analyst with SAS Expertise | WFH

Key Responsibilities • Develop and sustain SAS programs for automated reporting and advanced statistical analysis. • Create and refine SAS stored procedures and views to improve data accessibility. • Design and implement complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from diverse sources. • Construct and uphold dashboards and reports that present key performance indicators and actionable insights. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and deliver compelling analytical solutions. • Ensure data quality through validation, implement cleaning procedures, and resolve system process issues. • Accurately document technical processes and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries. • Guide and mentor junior analysts in best practices for SQL and SAS. Required Skills • Proficiency in SAS data integration and query tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Familiarity with Linux, including shell scripting, and various database platforms such as SQL Server or Oracle. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of SAS programming experience, including Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, and PROC SQL. • At least 5 years of advanced SQL experience, encompassing complex joins, window functions, and query optimization. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
