Remote Back End Developer (Java) - US Citizenship Required

Position Overview: As a Back End Java Software Developer, you'll collaborate with a decentralized team to design, develop, and sustain our application, leveraging standard Java frameworks, web services, and API technologies. Your expertise will drive the development of new unit tests, web pages, interfaces, and data exchanges, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications using standard Java frameworks such as JDBC and JMS
- Utilize web and API services using technologies such as JSON/REST or XML/SOAP
- Design and develop new unit tests (JUnit) to ensure high-quality code
- Build new web pages, interfaces, and data exchanges to enhance user experience
- Collaborate with a decentralized team to achieve project goals and objectives
Desired Qualifications:
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- US Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
- 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer, with expertise in Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
- Experience with Postgres or other SQL Databases, and developing Web Services and REST Services
- Familiarity with standard source code management tools (Gitlab) and web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
